    Thelma (Jenkins) Hurd
    1908 - 2005

    Thelma passed away peacefully at Belvedere Heights in her 97th year.

    Daughter of the late David and Amelia Jenkins.

    Dear wife of the late Oliver Wurm and the late Kenneth Hurd.

    Beloved mother of [...]; and the late Bruce [...].

    Fondly remembered by Ken Hurd's family, [...] and the late Jim [...].

    Lovingly remembered by her 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

    Rested in Trinity Anglican Church where family received visitors on Monday, March 28th from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the Service. Funeral Service was in the Church on Monday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception.

    Interment Hillcrest Mausoleum and Chapman Cemetery, Magnetawan.

    Donations to Trinity Anglican Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.

    Arrangements entrusted to Logan's of Parry Sound.

    Henry was born in Germany about 1835 and emigrated to Canada in the early 1850's. Elizabeth was born in Germany on 11 Jan 1834 and also arrived in Canada in the early 1850's. The census of 1861 shows this couple residing in Berlin, Waterloo County, Ontario in a 1 1/2 storey frame house with the family of Mathias Wurm and Elizabeth Neeb.

    Henry died before the age of 33, sometime between 1864 and 1868.
