      Mrs. Fred W. Weiser

      Friends and relatives were shocked to hear of the death on Sunday, July 21, of Mrs. Fred W. Weiser, a life long resident of Normanby township. While not in good health for some years, the end came suddenly after a few hours' illness.

      The deceased, Mary Christine Hertzberger, was born in Normanby on February 14, 1886, and was married in 1906 to Fred W. Weiser who survives, with three daughters, Mrs. Bert Reeves (Ruby); Mrs. Hugh Keith (Gertrude); Mrs. Walter Park (Mayme) and seven sons, John W., Frederick H., David E., Wallace W., Edmund F., Roy A. and Gordon K. to whom is extended sincere sympathy in the loss of a loving wife and mother. A sister, Mrs. Wm. Weber, and twenty grandchildren also survive.

      The funeral which was largely attended, was held from her late home on Wednesday, July 24, and was conducted by Rev. Ralph Williams of Holstein. The pall bearers were Messrs. Herbert Hertzberger, Milton Hertzberger, Erwin Weber, Lorne Weber, Wilfred Ryan and James B. Elder.

      Many beautiful flowers bore testimony to the high esteem in which the deceased was held, and were carried by Ella Reeves, Josephine Reeves, Vera Weber, Norman Reeves, Leonard Weber and Roy Weber.

      Interment took place in Cochrane Cemetery.
