- The Wurm's of Chapman Township, Parry Sound, Ontario are descendent of Henry Wurm and Elizabeth Steinacker.
Henry was born in Germany about 1835 and emigrated to Canada in the early 1850's. Elizabeth was born in Germany on 11 Jan 1834 and also arrived in Canada in the early 1850's. The census of 1861 shows this couple residing in Berlin, Waterloo County, Ontario in a 1 1/2 storey frame house with the family of Mathias Wurm and Elizabeth Neeb.
Henry died before the age of 33, sometime between 1864 and 1868.

Dec. 31, 1868 Elisabeth Wurm (widow) and Wiliam Henner
(widower), both of Berlin, by Rev. Kaessmann
- The family of William and Elizabeth relocated to the area of Magnetawan in Chapman Township, Parry Sound, Ontario, likely about 1877, and farmed Lot 25, Conc 5, Chapman Township, Parry Sound, Ontario. A Hoerner family donated land for the Chapman Community Cemetery where many of William and Elizabeth's descendents are buried.
Eventually their son William took over the family farm and William and Elizabeth continued to live there in their latter years.
