There are two different baptismal records for Kristoffer Olson. Neither baptism record includes a birth date. Records indicate that he was baptised on October 14, 1821 in Snarum church, in Modum parish. His parents were Ola Toreson Korsbøeneie and wife Kari Kristoffersdotter.
One of Kristoffer`s Godparents (witnesses) was Vilhelm Toreson Prestegarden. Further investigation may reveal that this is a brother to Ola Toreson and also the father of Maren Turina Vilhelmsdotter.
