Henry and Catherine Dickert
Henry Dickert's father Jonathan Dickert (C15-L27) bought this land in 1893 and when Henry (1878-1937) married Catherine Harrifield in 1905 they farmed here, buying the farm from his father in 1909.
Henry and Catherine were active in community and church affairs. Catherine had a quiet, cheery disposition and loved to cook and bake, tended a big garden while raising her family and helping her husband.
Henry and Catherine had five children...
