Obituary of William J. White
FUNERAL OF LATE WILLIAM WHITE
A large number of people gathered at the Tanner & Pearson Funeral Home here on Thursday, December 6th, to pay final tribute to the late Mr. William J. White, who passed away at his home on Tuesday. Rev. Gomm, minister of Riversdale United Church, conducted the funeral service and also the obsequies in Greenock Baptist cemetery where interment of the remains took place. The pall-bearers were Messrs. Alphonse Halk, Leander Halk, Eugene Grubb, Percy Wallace, Vernon Frickey and Alvin Fisk. He leaves to mourn his wife, Minnie White, one son, Merlin, one daughter, Minnie, and two step-children, Treva and Lindsay. Two brothers, Herb and Elden also survive.
