BALLARD - Wilbur Eugene Ballard passed away in Kelowna on Feb. 11, 1995 at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his loving wife Toni of Winfield, and one daughter, [...] of Kamloops. Two grandsons, [...]; also one sister, Edna Hutchison of Spalding, Saskatchewan. A Memorial Services was held Tuesday, February 14, 1995 at 1:00pm in the Memorial Chapel of the Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Rd., Rev. Ken Westereng officiating. Cremation. Inurnment to follow in the Lakeview Cemetery. Donations to the Charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to Valleyview Funeral Home, Rutland.

WARD ALDERSON

GRETNA, Man. -- The funeral service for Ward Alderson, 82, who died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rose Tremaine, Kelwood, Man., was held Sunday at Gretna. Rev. C. H. Owens of Neche, N.D., officiated and burial was in Gretna cemetery. J. W. Neill and Son of Kelwood were in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Earl Smith, P. W. MacNab, Albert Ulrich, Pat Smith, Henry Schuppert and Gordon McEdwards. Born in Bridgepost, Ont., Mr. Alderson was a barber in Morden for four years before moving to Gretna. He retired in 1945 to live with his daughter in Kelwood. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Tremaine and Mrs. Gladys Campbell, Norgate, Man.; two sisters Miss Ella Alderson of Kitchener, Ont. and Mrs. Meta Wurm of London, Ont.; one brother Charles Alderson of Des Moines, Iowa; one niece Mrs. Charles Hayward of Gretna and seven grandchildren.
