MR. AND MRS OLIVER O. MOORE

      MISS ISABEL A. MacDERMENT
      BRIDE OF OLIVER O. MOORE

Miss Isabel A. MacDerment, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William MacDerment, 11 Prospect Place, Pittston, became the bride of Oliver O. Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Moore, 58 Plank Street, Pittston, on Wednesday afternoon, August 25, at 4 at home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Harold J. Mahon, 7 Prospect Place, Pittson.

Ceremony, which took place in the livingroom before a fireplace decorated with gladioli and palms, was performed by Rev. Richard Rinker. A string ensemble played.

The bride had as her attendants, Mrs. Robert Green, matron of honor, and Miss Elizabeth Kuschel, bridesmaid. Robert Green was best man and David MacDerment, brother of the bride, was an usher.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a period gown of white slipper satin fashioned with a basque podice, long tapering sleeves, and a full skirt ending in a long train. An off-the-shoulder neckline of sheer marquisette was outlined with Rose point lace and the lace fell from the bodice of the gown as an edge for the train. Her veil of imported English illusion was attached to a coronet of seed pearls. She carried an old fashioned bouquet of white bridal roses centered with an orchid.

Matron of honor and bridesmaid were gowned alike in aquamarine taffeta with an off-the-shoulder effect of marquisette, with long full skirts and three quarter length sleeves. They wore matching halos of braided velvet ribbon and wrist length with gloves. They carried old-fashioned bouquets of peach gladioli.

The bride's mother wore a street length dress of seafoam crepe with inserts of lace flowers. She wore brown accessories and a corsage of Pinocchio rosebuds. The bridegroom's mother wore a street length dress of powder blue with navy accessories and a corsage of gold nugget rosebuds. Mrs. H. J. Mahon, aunt of the bride, wore a white shadow lace street length dress, white accessories and a shoulder bouquet of red rosebuds.

Following a trip, Mr. and Mrs. Moore will reside temporarily with the bride's parents. The bride is a graduate of Pittston High school, attended Wyoming Seminary School of Voice, and is employed in Miners Savings Bank. Mr. Moore is a graduate of Pittston High School and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Accounts and Finance.
