TRANSLATION:
In the year of Christ, eighteen hundred and sixteen, the 28th of February, Nicolaus Wurm of Herbstein age 38 years was married to Anna Barbara Lauer of Uppertshausen age 32 years, without the publication of banns.
Witnesses were Johannes Ritter and Johannes Hohl, who, along with me, the pastor who performed the marriage, sign the document below.
[The margin note writes out the ages of the parties in words and confirms the approval of the parents.]
NOTE:
Uppertshausen no longer exists. Uppertshausen was a day labourer's home on the bank of the Ohm opposite of Wäldershausen (between Bleidenrod and Homberg) belonging to the Freiherr (= baron) von Schenk.

Entry #26 states that Nils Kristoffersson Bjørndal`s "eie" (of Sigdal parish), age 26, married Hella Petersdotter Jelstad (of Modum parish), age 27, on September 29, 1826 in Heggen church, in Modum parish. Bestmen (witnesses) were Hans Olson Tanberg and Ola Nilsson Tingelstad.

Status: Located; The marriage record states that bachelor Ola Toreson Hallerdalen (under his name appears to be the word "Tenestdreng" = male servant or hired man) age 32 years married in the parish of Sigdal, County of Buskerud on March 29, 1817 to maiden (never married before) Kari Kristoffersdotter Bjørndalen (priest has written her first name as Mari) and under her name (appears to be the word "Tenestpike" = female servant or hired girl) age 24 years.
The bestmen (witnesses) were "Sergeant" (as in military man) Dal (his last or farm name) and Kjetil Andersson Bjørndalen.
The record also states that the marriage took place in the church. The only church known to exist in Sigdal parish at that time can be viewed at this link.

On the left side of page, entry #10 states: Married on August 14, 1864 in Frogner church, "ungkar" (bachelor) Ole Pederson Arteid and "pike" (maiden/never married) Karen Nilsdotter Arteid. Groom's birthplace was on Gulliksrud farm, in Gran parish, and bride's birthplace was on Ausen farm (Sørum parish). Groom's date of birth was September 7, 1833 and bride's date of birth was July 6, 1840. Groom's father is Peter Gulbrandsson and bride's father is Nils Hansson. The bestmen (sponsors) were Hans Hansson Sulerud and Ola Olson Arteideie. The dates of public announcements for their marriage were on February 7, 14, and the 21st, 1864. Both have been vaccinated for smallpox.

Peter`s father`s name is Gulbrand Olson Gulliksrud. Sigrid`s father`s name is Halvor Karlsson Vøyen. Bestmen (sponsors) were Peter Guttormsson Bjørge and Karl Vøyen. Dates of public announcements were on December 14, 21 and 28, 1828 and they were requested by the groom. Both bride and groom have had smallpox.
