This is the Gran parish record of Halvor Peterson leaving Gran parish to go to Fåberg parish, Oppland county, Norway. On the left side of the page under the year 1855, entry #17 states:
'Reported Date of Departure' April 7, 1855, "ungkar" (bachelor) Halvor Peterson Velta, born on Gulliksrud, H26 (meaning of H26 unknown), 'date of birth' April 2, 1836, and 'To What Place Moving to' Fåberg parish. Records from the Fåberg church of Halvor entering into or leaving Fåberg parish have not been located. It is possible that he was not mentioned because he did not marry or have any children in the parish, or perhaps he could just have moved on right away in 1855 to another parish or straight to Canada or the United States. A record of emigration for Halvor Peterson has not been located.

It appears that the family lived on Velta until about 1860 when Olaf Peterson moved to Sørum parish that year, and Kristine Petersdotter also moved to Sørum parish that same year. On the right hand side of the page under the year 1860, entry #19 states:
"Reported Date of Departure" April 4, 1860, Kjerstine Petersdotter Velta, born on Gulliksrud, "date of birth" July, 29, 1839, "To What Place Moving to" Sørum parish.

On page 603, entries 10 & 11 state that "Ektefolk" (married couple) Kjetil Xstoffersson Bjørndalen and "hustru" (wife) arrived in Eiker parish with written permission (certificate) on April 12, 1815. Their occupation was "husfolk" (cotter who worked for the owner of the farm in return for (small) pay and a house and generally a small piece of land for their own use) on the farm Daler, in Eiker parish. Their former residence was in Sigdal parish.
Unfortunately the record does not list their children. Also there was no record of them leaving Sigdal parish.
