The former Phoebe Debus she was born in Hay township June 15, 1869 a daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Conrad Debus. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Hugh (Eva) Thiel RR #2 Zurich, Mrs. Gertrude Datars, Goderich, a brother in B.C. Her husband died some time ago. Buried in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Zurich.
