| Marriage announcement Ballard-Olson Spalding,.--A pretty wedding took place at the parsonage at Melfort on Aug. 5, when Miss Ina Helen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Olson, was married to Leon Clyde Ballard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude L. Ballard. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Wilkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mohagen signed the register. The bride was charming in a blue costume. The couple will reside at Spalding.
Louise Hanna and Cecille Fielder were hostesses at a shower in honor of Mrs. Ballard. The shower was held at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Morris Selmon. The gifts were presented by Miss Fielder. Tea brought the function to a close. Over 35 names were on the presentation address. |
