| Baptism record of Margaretha Sippel German text:
Margaretha Sippel
English translation:
Margaretha Sippel
In the year of Christ 1831, on July 6, at four o'clock in the afternoon, the farmer and lordly innkeeper Heinrich Sippel in Hutzdorf, according to his own announcement, had his fourth child, the first daughter, born by his wife Elisabetha (Schäfer), who was baptized on July 9 and was called Margaretha. The proposed godfather was Margaretha Otterbein, daughter of the miller* Johannes Otterbein from Fraurombach, a brother-in-law of the child's father, who, together with him and me, the baptizing clergyman, signs the present protocol.
Signed by Heinrich Sippel, Johannes Otterbein and the pastor (can’t read his name from the signature)
* the original text actually says "Plätzschesmüller" which means he was the miller of a mill called possibly "Plätzschesmühle"
