Notes |
- Michael Schwarz / Schwartz farmed near Crediton, Ontario. Many of the Germans who settled in Crediton originated from the town of Baiersbronn in Wurttemberg, Germany though it is not known if the area of Baiersbronn was the Schwartz homeland.
The best information available to date indicates that the Schwartz family lived for a time at "The Twenty", now known as Campden in Clinton Township, Lincoln County on their way from New York to Stephen Township. With them at "The Twenty" were the Braun, Haist, and Treitz families.
