  		Census 1865, parish of Modum, Buskerud County, Norway 1865 Census shows Bertil and his family listed in in the Modum Parish. His occupation is listed as farmer and he is indicated to by the owner of his farm. Bertil is listed as living on the "Pedersbraathen" farm. This is now spelt Persbråten and is a part of the Skretteberg farm.
  		Confirmation Record of Ole Bertilsson Ole was confirmed on Sept 27, 1868 in the Nykyrkje church in the parish of Modum by Pastor Grønvold. The record indicates that Ole was born on February 20 1854 on Persbråten and resided on Persbråten. His parents were "owner" (of the farm) Bertil Olson and Maren Turine Vilhelmsdotter. For his "Religious knowledge" he received a mark of 3 and for his "application or diligence, etc" he also received a 3. In the last column it states Ole was vaccinated on the August 24, 1854.
  		Ole Bertilsson - Death record The Snarum church death record indicates that Ole Bertilsson died as a bachelor and "Fattigl" (believed to be short for "fattiglem") which means "Pauper" or one who receives aid from funds designated for the poor. Ole died on June 26, 1886, the funeral was on July 1 and the internment was on July 4, 1886. He was buried in the Snarum Church graveyard. The cause of death listed was 'bronchitis'. His residence at the time of death was Persbråten (Skretteberg).
