- Gordon Noble was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. At the time of the 1911 census the family resided at 70 Howard Street in Toronto.
On February 24, 1916 Gordon was recruited for military service in Toronto. At that time he was employed as a Clerk and resided at 356 Davenport Road.
Gordon did not return home from WWI. He died on 16 April 1917 and is buried at Vimy Ridge in France.
