    Im Jahre achtzehnhundertfünfunddreißig am achtzehnten April Abends neun Uhr wurde dem Heinrich Sippel, Wirt in Hutzdorf von seiner Ehefrau Elisabetha geborene Schäfer das sechste Kind, der vierte Sohn geboren, am 1. Mai getauft und Valentin genannt nach Valentin Bachmann, Ortsbürger in Hutzdorf.

    Valentin Sippel

    In the year 1835, on the 18th of April at nine o'clock in the evening, Heinrich Sippel, innkeeper in Hutzdorf, had the sixth child and fourth son born of his wife Elisabetha, Schäfer, baptized on May 1st and named Valentin after Valentin Bachmann, a local citizen in Hutzdorf.

    Valentine Sippel's wife, Maria, is missing from this census. Reason unknown. The possibility that Valentine was married twice, first to Marie (surname unknown) and secondly to Marie Kreuzer, was considered. The idea is discarded now that the marriage record from 1861 has been obtained.
