      Double Bereavement

      The sympathy of the community has been extended the past week to Mrs. Thomas Moore, of Normanby Tp., whose husband's death took place Monday night under tragic circumstances, and whose mother, Mrs. Hillgartner, passed away at her home in Ayton the evening before.

      Mr. Moore's funeral took place on Friday and was conducted by the Rev. John McDermid of Melville Church. The pallbearers were: John Ollis, Albert Ollis, John Weiser, Fred Weiser, Walter Crispin and Wilfrid Ryan.

      The funeral of Mrs. Hillgartner was held on Wednesday from her late residence to Zion Lutheran Church, Ayton, with interment at Ayton.
