  Notes	From Robert P. Reid Luella had married Charlie Gossman, from the Dashwood area, brother of Banker's. They moved around frequently before they ended up in Port Huron where he worked for the railroad. They farmed on the Babylon of Stanley Township for a time (Harold Dowson property). Bud and Charlotte talked about finding old receipts for things bought when they farmed. They also went west with Leonard and Tillie but apparently did not care for that. Their children were Vera, [...]. Charlie had a yen for building also. Vera and [...] were born in Canada. Vera was born in Dashwood. [...] was born in Varna in 1923. They moved to Port Huron in 1924 were they remained. Charlotte was born here in 1930. Charlie died in 1962 and Luella in 1989.

  Source of descendents: http://www.sandercott.com/genealogy/charles_gossman.html Died: Charles Gossman Funeral services for Charles Gossman, 67, of 3592 North River Road, who died Monday, will be held at 1:30p.m. Thursday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Robert O. Bannon, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Ohmer P. Pickett, George M. Stevenson, Edmond Heyer, Edgar H. Goerhing, George W. Matthews and Edmund T. Cicharacki will be pallbearers. The remains are in Hubert V. Lucas Funeral Home and will be removed at 11 a.m. Thursday to the church. Memorials may be made to the church expansion fund. Mr. Gossman is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louella Gossman, in addition to survivors previously listed.
