- From M. R. Price.........
After immigrating to this country in 1847, he worked as a boatman in Keokuk, Lee Co., Iowa. Later , he was a merchant in Blue Earth City, Fairbault Co., Minnesota known as "Cole & Bros." that was started about 1866. Later sold to their nephews and was known as "Zingheim Brothers" as of 1 Nov 1887. He was later , as per 1900 Census of Lewiston, Nez Perce Co., Idaho, a merchant.
He served for 1 year and 3 months in the Civil War from 1862 - 1864 on AD HINE Steamship.
