Age 79, died on Thursday, October 23, 1997 at Appleton Care Medical Center, Appleton, Outagami Co., Wisconsin. He was born in Ogdensburg on May 6, 1918 to the late Adolph and Mary9Schroeder) Bastien. On October 28 , 1955 he married Gladys Ropella. Harley lived in the Waupaca area until 1957. He then moved to the Fox Valley. He enjoyed building and remodeling his entire life, working for several area contractors. He was self employed for the last 20 years of his life, until his retirement 2 years ago. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Bastien and his former wife Violet (Ballard) Bastien
