      Whitchurch Township Residents from A History of Toronto and County of York

      George Brillinger, lot 3, concession 4, was born in Whitchurch in 1816. He is a son of the late Peter Brillinger, who was born in Pennsylvania in 1788 and died in this township in 1865. His mother was Sarah Fauckler, who was born in Pennsylvania in 1791 and died in 1862. Mr. Brillinger was married in 1839 to Fanny Heise, a native of Markham, by whom he has six children: Elizabeth, Nancy, Fanny, Martha, Chrystal and George. (vol. II, p 450)
