She was a member of the Eastern Star; Jephthal Chapter; the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Bay City Lodge; and the Woman's Study Club. For two years she was president of the Huron County Federation of Women's Clubs, two years president of the County Association of East Star, chairman of Health and Narcotic Public Welfare Work and advisory member of the board, and reporter of the Study Club of Sebewaing.
Mrs. Wurm was exceptionally capable and at all time showed a willingness to co-operate with her co-workers in the promotion of the welfare of the several organizations to which she belonged. Her judgement and advice was frequently solicited.
Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nancy Munroe, Elkton, two brothers, Dr. D. J. Munroe, Elkton, and Dr. Neal Munroe, Rogers City, and one sister, Mrs. M. M. Lease, of Great Falls, Montana.
