The stone farm house is situated at the end of a long driveway lined with tall spruce trees. The home has a servant's quarters above the kitchen which, in 1901, was occupied by John Topping born 22 Jan 1874.

Notes |
- Earl farmed the family homestead. He retired in the early 1980s and sectioned off a small lot close to the road on the northwest corner of the property. He built a bungalow. Several years later the farm was sold to the City of Guelph.
