      The couple first purchased Lot 26 of Con 3. They found the farm to be poor for farming and moved in 1883 to lot 25, conc 4, Chapman, Parry Sound, Ontario. This new location was across the road from the Hoerner farmstead where Elizabeth's parents remained.
