    In the year of our Lord eighteen hundred twenty seven on the fifth of February in the morning about five o’clock, according to the trustworthy attestation given by Wilhelm Erb, citizen and farmer in Bleidenrod, there was born from his wife, Anna Dorothea Lauer, the fifth child, a daughter, the second daughter, and baptized on the eighth of the same month, at which time it received the name Christina. Baptismal witness was the still unmarried daughter of Henrich Rupp of Bleidenrod, Christina, who, along with the father of the child and me, the pastor who performed the baptism, has signed the current document below.

    • Researchers have suggested that Daniel Wurm married Catherine Kruger. Baptism records of St. Paul's Lutheran Evangelical Church, Berlin, Ontario indicate that Daniel's wife was Catherine Erb. Information from Bleidenrod, Germany provides name as Christina Erb.
