- George Bremner signed up for military service in London, Ontario on March 24, 1916. At that time he and his wife and children resided in Waterloo, Ontario. George was employed as an electrician. Records of recruit note that the 27 year old had fair hair and grey eyes and stood 5 feet, 7 3/4 inches tall.
