Dilman S. Bowman
Dilman S. Bowman passed away at the home of his son, Leslie Bowman, 81 Jrug Street, early today after a short illness. Mr Bowman was 79 years of age. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Bowman he was born in Wilmot Township, Oct. 23, 1862. He was a member of Bethany Mennonite Church. Mr. Bowman was married May 27, 1883, at Doon to Catherine Baer who survives him with four sons, Leslie, Harvey, and Myron of Kitchener and Vernon of Toronto, one daughter, Mrs. T. H. Cochrane, Sunnyside, and three brothers, Levi Bowman of Kossuth, Tobias of Nut Mountain, Sask., and Enos, also in Saskatchewan. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at Bethany Mennonite Church at 2:14. Interment will take place in Hagey Cemetery, Preston. Rev. C. N. Good, pastor, will officiate. The remains will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
