- GIESE, Jean (Mrs. William) - On Monday, January 3, 2005, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Jean (Durst) Giese, in her 79th year, formerly of RR 2, Elmira. Wife of the late William Giese (2001). Dear niece of Dorothy [...] of Kitchener. Jean will be missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Milton and Charlotta (Gaiser) DurstAt Jean's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at St James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs on Friday, January 7 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Interment of cremated remains will take place at St James Lutheran Cemetery, St. Jacobs on Friday, January 7 at 1 p.m. In her memory, donations to St James Lutheran Church Building Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be obtained by calling Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
