| Marriage record of Helene Toresdotter and Kittil Olson Helene Toresdotter Holo and Kittil Olson were married on March 25, 1884 in the Heggen church, Modum parish, in Buskerud County. This was the first marriage for both of them. Kittil`s occupation and residence was a servant on Sevalds (a part of Skredsvik farm, in Heggen parish).
Kittil was born in 1855 in Sigdal parish and was confirmed on October 9, 1870 in Sigdal parish. His father was "husmann" (cotter/tenant farmer) Ola Kittilsson Grønsætereie.
Helene was born in 1856 in Modum parish and her father was "gardmann" (farmer) Tore Olson Holo.
The bestmen (sponsors) names and residences were, Knut P. Holo and Edvard Skredsvik. The dates of public announcement for the marriage were February 10, 17 and 24, 1884.

| Family of Kittil Olson Holo in 1900 census The 1900 census in Modum parish indicates that Helene Thoresdotter and Kittil Olson were living with their five children on the Tingelstad farm, but Kittil goes by the last name of Holo. It states Kittil`s occupation as a farmer, Helene as farmer`s wife. The eldest children, Torvald and Anna Kirstine, are workers on the farm.
