  Baptism record of Nils Kjetilsson On page 274 on the left hand side, for entry #69, it reads that Nils Kjetilsson was born on February 4, 1822 on the Daler farm, of Eiker parish in Buskerud County. He was baptized March 10, 1822 in Bakke church in Eiker parish. Where his name is written it says "Nils av Bakke" meaning he was living in the Bakke church parish area. There were a few churches in Eiker parish and they each had their own parish area. His parents were Kjetil Kristoffersson and "hustru"(wife) Ingeborg Torgeirsdotter Daler . After Daler is written "ved" (at or on). The next word is illegible but is most likely a name given for the piece of the land they were living on at Daler at that time.
