Entry numbers 29 and 30, at the top of the far left of the page, indicate that Johan Kristensson was born on the Nes farm in Sigdal parish Buskerud county to parents Kristen Larsson and was baptised with his twin sister Anna Kristensdotter on May 18, 1807 in Sigdal parish. From the 1801 census, we assume that their mother is Marit Gulsdotter. |

The marriage record states that "maiden"(never married) Ingrid Jakobsdotter was married to "bachelor" and "soldier" Johan Kristensson on September 12, 1831 in Sigdal parish. Her age was 31 and his was 25. Entry is at the bottom of the left side of page #9).

Ten years after the death of Ingrid (Inger) Jakobsdotter, Johan Kristensson remarried. Entry #13 at the top of the page, left side, it states: Widower Johan Kristensson, age 46, married "maiden/never married" Live Halvorsdotter, age 24, on March 24, 1854 in Sigdal parish. His place of residence at the time of marriage was on the Solum (Solumeie) farm, in Sigdal parish, and her place of residence was on the Åby (Åbyeie) farm, in Sigdal parish. His father is Kristen Larsson and her father is Halvor Sebjørnsson.
