    The baptismal record for Siri Halvorsdatter states that Sigrid was born 1795 on the Vøyen farm, Gran parish, and was baptised February 1, 1795 in Gran parish. On the right side of the page (page 195) the 4th entry down states:
    "do" (the same date as above) baptised at Gran, Halvor Karlsson and Siri Petersdotter Vøyen, their legitimate child named Siri. Then it lists the names of her Godparents (sponsors) and at the far right it states Siri Petersdotter was introduced back into the Gran congregation on the 3rd Sunday of fast (Oculi).
    When we look at the same baptismal date two entries up from Siri`s we see it was Septuagesima (2nd Sunday before Shrovetide Sunday).

    January 15, 1829, married were "ungkar" (bachelor) Peter Gulbrandsson and "enkje" (widow) Siri Halvorsdatter. Both resided on the farm Gulliksrud, in Gran parish. Peter`s father`s name is Gulbrand Olson Gulliksrud. Sigrid`s father`s name is Halvor Karlsson Vøyen. Bestmen (sponsors) were Peter Guttormsson Bjørge and Karl Vøyen. Dates of public announcements were on December 14, 21 and 28, 1828 and they were requested by the groom. Both bride and groom have had smallpox.

    Sigrid died April 25, 1851 on the farm Velta, Gran parish and was buried May 1, 1851 in Gran parish. On the left side of the page, entry #44 states:
    'Death date' April 25, 1851, 'date of burial' May 11, 1851, "husmannskone" (cotter/tenant farmer`s wife) Sigrid Hallvardsdotter, age 54, whose residence at the time of death was on Velta (gn). It is assumed that gn may stand for Gran (area or parish).
