  Died: EXETER TIMES-ADVOCATE - January 21, 1917, page 4 Obituary of George Cornish George Cornish, of Exeter, died on Jan. 19, 1917 aged 76 years, 1 month and 19 days. He came to Usborne Twp. from Devonshire, England nearly 70 years ago when he was 8 years of age. His parents settled on a bush farm 2 1/2 miles south of Elimville. He farmed on his own at Sunshine and later to the Thames Road where his wife died ten years ago. He had been a particularly healthy man until struck with cancer, and he died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Snell. He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Snell and Mrs. Kellet of Elimville; 3 sons, Thomas, Fred and Emerson of Exeter. The funeral took place to Exeter Cemetery Sunday afternoon.
