The siblings of Henry Emil Fielder were born in Langewiesen, Schwarzburg-Sonderhausen, Thuringen, Germany. The baptism records of all of the children except Henry have been located. Henry, the youngest in the family, changed his name to Fielder in the early 1860s. The family left Germany and arrived in New York on August 23, 1853. They settled in Ohio. All except Henry remained there.
