Last Will and Testament of Conrad Fischer

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Conrad Fischer of the Township of Wallace in the County of Perth and Province of Ontario, in Canada, Yeoman made this twenty second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety three. I revoke all former Wills or other Testamentary Dispositions by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament. I direct all my just debts funeral and testament any expenses to be paid and satisfied by my executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give, devise and bequeath all my real and Personal estate of which I may die possessed in the manner following, that is to say, 1st -- My Will is that a certain Mortgage securing the sum of Two thousand Dollars at five percent per annum on the south half of lot number forty-two and the south half of lot forty-three in the fourth concession of the Township of Wallace in the County of Perth and Province of Ontario shall be allowed to stand so long as my beloved wife Margaret Fischer shall live and the interest thereof shall be paid yearly to her for her support in lieu of dower and in case she shall survive me I give and bequeath to her all my household goods and personal property to her for her own use and benefit so long as she shall live, and at her decease to be sold by my executors hereinafternamed, and the proceeds disposed of as herein after mentioned, 2nd -- I give and bequeath to the Missionary Society of the German Conference of the Evangelical Association the sum of twenty dollars to be applied to Hessia, 3rd -- My Will is further that in case my beloved wife shall survive me that as soon as conveniently may be after her decease my executors hereinafternamed shall take the proceeds of the sale of my household goods aforementioned together with all the rest residue and remainder of any property of every kind so ever and shall divide the same among my children namely Conrad Fischer, Catherine Orth, Catharine Anna Knipe, John Fischer, Henry Fischer and Elizabeth Cosens, equally share and share alike. And I nominate and appoint Henry Fischer of the Township of Wallace and George Karcher of the same place to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above written. This is the paper writing referred to in the annexed affidavits of Henry Fischer and George Karcher sworn at Listowel in the County of Perth this 24th March 1902 and therein referred to as marked and as being the last will and testament of the said Conrad Fischer deceased.
