Martin Gubberud is listed in the 1900 census for Hope Township, Cavalier County, North Dakota as age 15, residing with the family of Halvor K. Omlie. His sister, Annie Turina "Tina" Gubberud is residing with the neighbouring Eckle family and listed as adopted daughter, age 10.
