At the very bottom of the left hand page it is recorded that Kristoffer Kjetilsson was born on January 16, 1806 on the Bendiksby farm of Modum parish. Baptismal date is not translated with 100% certainty but appears to read January 30, 1806 in Nykirke (church), in Modum parish. His parents were Kjetil Kristoffersson Bendiksbyeie and (wife) Ingeborg Torgeirsdotter.
