Adolph Peterson was born Adolf Olson on the farm Arteid, Sørum parish. The baptism record, on the left side of the page, entry #14 it states:
Born April 21, 1865 and baptised June 5, 1865 in Frogner church, Sørum parish, Adolf Olson, was a legitimate child born to "husmann" (tenant farmer, crofter) Ole Pederson Arteid and "hustru" (wife) Karen Nilsdotter.
