Our Norwegian roots begin with Kjetil Torkildsson Støvern who married Ingebjørg Larsdotter Kroken on October 9, 1749 at Holmen church in Sigdal parish, Buskerud county, Norway. The church was replaced by a new structure in 1853, a photo of which is found here.
